In over twenty years of Children’s Ministry I have met all kinds of families. I’ve known families who love to camp together, hang out at the beach together, watch movies together, shop together, hunt together, dance together, play board games together, run races together, or whatever together.
Even though these families are very different from each other, they all have one thing in common. They love being together. Why? Because that’s where the fun happens and memories are made for a lifetime.
What better excuse for “together” than coming together to worship God and learn from His Word?
That’s why I am so excited to invite you to come together with your family for our Big Picture Show Family Worship Experience on Sunday, October 29 at 11:25. We will meet in Theater 81 for a special worship event designed for the entire family. We will worship together with a live band, laugh together with some fun games and be inspired together as we experience some creative teaching from the Bible that the whole family can apply for weeks and months come.
We hosted this same family worship experience at our Lexington campus last year and not only did families have a blast but we saw God move in some powerful ways through this special family experience.
So if you normally attend the 9:30 service or the 10 After, make plans to stick around for the 11:25 Big Picture Show Family Experience. If you typically attend at 11:15, just head down to Theater 81 and join us there. It will definitely be one the best “together” moments of your entire year.
Just a heads up, we will be closing the Drive-In and Backlot environments during the 11:15 service that day but will still be offering full Children’s Ministry environments at the 9:30 service and Design Studio and Animation Station at 11:15 during the family service. Also, all kids attending the Big Picture Show Family Experience will need to be accompanied by an adult, because, of course, this all about worshipping together.
