The Global Outreach team began a new Global Outreach Group (GO Group) and as part of the first meeting, participants were asked to complete the statement above. Here are some of their responses.
“To be a financial and prayer supporter; an encourager; a team leader; and a team member.”
“To care because I come from India as an adopted child, rescued from an orphanage; and know God is calling me back.”
“To build relationships and provide services the various locations may not have.”
“To lead teams to Haiti; to encourage people to go on a mission trip; to prepare team members the best way I can for their trip.”
“To faithfully follow my calling to missions; to lead high school students, or anyone else placed on my team.”
“To support and be a foot soldier anywhere I can.”
As you read these, how were you forming your completion of the statement? All of us have a role in Global Outreach— whether we go on a trip, pray for those going, pray for those in the location, or help provide financial support — we all can play a part.
