Are you walking through a tough season following the loss of a loved one or maybe you walking through a tough season because divorce is now a part of your reality? We offer GriefShare and DivorceCare groups.

Hospital Visitations

 

Walking through a hospitalization? Our Care volunteers pray and connect with families and individuals in hospitals and nursing homes. Visits can be arranged in most circumstances. Patients or primary caregivers can let us know about hospitalizations by calling (859) 224-1600 or emailing general@southland.church.

Counseling Referrals

 

We can all use some help and guidance at times. There are some great professional counselors trained to help come alongside you to help you gain greater emotional and spiritual strength during times of trial. Click here to start our referral process.

Walk-Ins

 

We know that sometimes problems in life can feel like an unbearable weight and you just need to talk with someone. If none of the options above fit your needs, we invite you to stop in during office hours, or see our service times below to stop by on a Sunday.

Volunteer Opportunities

Prayer Team

We’re looking for people who’d make great Prayer Team Members! Do you have a vibrant personal prayer life, and a deep sense of comfort and peace with the idea of praying out loud with people in our prayer rooms and during weekend worship? We’re also looking for those who can help field Prayer Texts that come through the service times and throughout the week.

Baptism Hosts

We’re looking for folks who can help people get ready for the most important day of their lives—their baptism day. You can help them get registered and show them where to get changed and ready to be baptized.

Hospital Volunteers

We’re looking for caring, compassionate people to touch the lives of others in a variety of situations requiring hospitalization. This includes talking with family, praying with people, and supporting those navigating terminal or end-of-life illness.
