I started working at Southland in 2017 and I serve as the Groups Leader at the Lexington Campus. So I get to help people connect relationally, coach and train leaders, and help people see the value of following Jesus in community.
I’ve grown up here in Lexington and went to school at UK, so I bleed blue and love the Bluegrass State. I also have a Masters in Leadership from Asbury Seminary so if you need any help leading, just ask, I’ve mastered it.
In my spare time, I strive to be the ultimate renaissance man. A gentleman AND a scholar you might say. The kinda guy who splits his own firewood, can punch a bear and still converse knowledgeably about Ancient Near East civilizations.
When I’m not aspiring towards those endeavors, I love hanging out with my wife, Emily (we were married in July 2016) and our friends and family. I stay active by playing sports and anything outdoors. I like to tinker around in the woodshop, go hunting, quote funny movies, travel and read good books.
Overall, I’m a simple guy who wants to look more like Jesus everyday and love people over stuff. “Relationships are eternal. Things are temporary”
AHHH! we can't find them!
