I joined the staff here at Southland this year, 2017.
I am the Groups/Guest Experience Leader at the Danville Campus.
What I love about my job the most is that it is very unique, my job is a dual-role job where I get to work with both the Groups side and the Guest Experience side of the church. What I love about Groups is that I get to be very connected with and help partake in establishing healthy groups for people to get connected with a healthy community and to grow in Christ. At the same time, I get to help equip and grow leaders in the church who might not have ever considered themselves to be leaders, but yet are more gifted and qualified then they could imagine. On the Guest Experience side, I get to work with one of the most amazing teams in the church, the Blue Shirt Squad. This team is the frontlines of everything the church is trying to accomplish in and throughout our reach. The Blue Shirts are the first faces that people see when they enter the doors, and for a lot of people, this is the first time they have ever entered a church, and so we get a great opportunity to relationally invest in people who have never known the love of God.
What I love about my life the most, is my wife Logan. I know I am the luckiest guy in the world, not everyone gets to marry their best friend, and every day is an adventure and a blessing because I get to experience every moment of it with her. We both grew up in Central Kentucky, so we love the Bluegrass and we most definitely bleed blue! What I love about Central Kentucky the most is that you can be down at Rupp Arena or Commonwealth Stadium cheering on the Cats, and then in 10-15 minutes be out on a farm or pond frog giggin or cat fishin, and if that ain’t heaven……..I don’t know what is.
I feel as though it is my American/Kentuckian duty to confess that the completion of this bio was only made possible through the getting of all jacked up on Ale8 One.
AHHH! we can't find them!
