Isaiah 43:19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (NIV)

Welcome to the new world! The world where life takes on new meaning and depth of understanding. Friends, God created you to live a full life—right now, not just in the by-and-by. Maybe you’ve already been living that best life in Christ. Fantastic. Or maybe you’ve been thinking there has to be something more than just trying to “be good and wind up in Heaven someday.”

Having a full and free life in Christ is like having a safety deposit box. It’s there for sure. All of its contents belong to you, whether you ever open it or not. What’s also true is that no one can open it but you. Friend, please don’t wait to die before you really start living. Take that key (Jesus) and open up the life God intended for you. Today.

I want to challenge you this week to memorize and repeat four simple truths every time you read your Bible, which is the only truth we can trust implicitly:

  • God is Who He says He is.
  • I am who He says I am.
  • God can do what He says He can do.
  • I can do what He says I can do.

Believe me, your best life is just ahead when you choose to believe and trust the One who did for you what you could not do for yourself.

Father, today I give my body, mind, and soul to You to replenish, refresh, and restore. I trust in You alone to correct any errors in my thinking and action. I am Yours. Do with me as You will, Lord. Take a moment to listen to this song.
