  • Healthcare
    We offer a comprehensive medical package through Humana. Southland offers a Medical PPO plan which includes Telemedicine.
  • Dental Care
    We offer dental insurance through Humana’s network to help pay for your dental care in addition to protecting your smile.
  • Vision Care
    Vision health impacts overall health. Vision care services are offered through Humana Vision 130 Insurance.
  • FSA
    Paying for healthcare and daycare expenses can be stressful, which is why Southland offers a Flexible Spending Account and Dependent Care Account through McGregor and Associates. The Flexible Spending Account allows our staff members to set aside pre-tax contributions from their check to pay for eligible healthcare expenses. The account is pre funded in the beginning of the year or their benefits effective date. The Dependent Care Account allows our staff members to set aside pre-tax contributions in an account to pay for eligible daycare expenses.

Other Benefits

  • Life Insurance and Accident Coverage
    You can never predict when an untimely death occurs, but the proper planning can reduce the financial burden on your loved ones. Southland pays for two times the staff member’s annual salary in Life Insurance coverage through The Standard.
  • Disability Coverage
    If you were to become disabled and unable to work, you would receive 100% of your salary for up to 12 weeks through Short Term Disability. If this disability made it unable for you to work for more than 12 weeks you would receive 60% of your salary until Social Security Normal Retirement Age. Both of these coverages are paid by Southland for the benefit-eligible staff members.
  • Retirement Coverage
    Southland offers staff members a 403(b) plan as a means for saving for retirement. Retirement contributions are employer-paid at Southland and we encourage staff members to contribute as well. We are proud to offer an extremely generous employer contribution of 6%.
