FIRST & BEST
GIVING
Because Jesus went first for us, we bring Him our first and best.
God Went First. We Give Our Best.
God doesn't want anything from you; He wants you. He’s on a rescue mission for your heart, and everything we have starts with Him. When we give God our first and best instead of our leftovers, we move our finances out of anxiety and into His freedom and peace.
Jesus isn't just first on a list of priorities - He is the paper the list is written on. What we do with our money reveals and steers our hearts, placing our trust either in temporary things or in the eternal preeminence of King Jesus.
Too often, giving becomes an afterthought; whatever is left over at the end of the month. But true generosity starts at the top. We don't "tip" God or give out of obligation; we joyfully bring back the first portion of what He has entrusted to us to help reach one more person with His grace.
GIVING AT SOUTHLAND
Driven by the Gospel (Galatians 2:20) – Generosity is a privilege, not an obligation. Jesus gave His life so we could have full, abundant life, so we refuse to hold back from Him.
Driven by Faith (Proverbs 3:9–10, Colossians 1:15–18) – Choosing God first trades our financial worry for His provision. Money makes a terrible god, but putting Jesus first brings peace.
Open-Handed Stewardship (1 Chronicles 29:14, 1 Corinthians 6:19–20) – Nothing is ours that our Father hasn't given us. We hold our resources with open hands to extend His reach and grace.
To Reach One More (Luke 19:10) – Everything we do is in the name of Jesus and for the fame of Jesus, driving our mission to see lives transformed.

Faithful Stewardship for Future Generations
As we seek to advance the kingdom of God, part of our journey involves practicing faithful stewardship and planning wisely for the future.
Studies show that the majority of Americans—for various reasons—do not have a will or trust.
Southland partners with Financial Planning Ministry (FPM)—a not-for-profit organization—to explore legacy planning and how we can help you, our church family, be a blessing to your families and to the kingdom of God for generations to come. Through this partnership, we are hosting Wills & Estates webinars where you can learn the benefits of estate planning and create a living will and trust.
No matter your financial situation, you’ll have the opportunity to attend an upcoming seminar and meet one-on-one with a member of the FPM team to walk through the entire process—at no cost to you.

DOLLAR CLUB
Joining the Dollar Club is simple! We ask everyone who attends Southland to add just one extra dollar to their weekly giving.
It might not sound like much on its own, but when those single dollars from across all of our campuses are pooled together, God multiplies them to radically transform an individual or family's life in an instant.

Generosity extends beyond financial stewardship to how we leverage our time and talents for God’s kingdom. Just as everything we own belongs to Him, offering our hands in service is another vital way to honor Him with what He has entrusted to us. By serving others, you bring your faith to life and actively invest in eternal impact alongside your financial giving.
