Name Dropping—Yahweh (The Faithful God)
Weekend Scripture: Daniel 3
The literal meaning of “Yahweh” is “I am.” That means that if we ask, “Were you present at those difficult times in my life?” His answer would be “I am.” If we ask, “Will you be there in the future events of my life?” His answer is the same: “I am.” He always presents Himself in the present tense because He’s always there, always faithful, always near all the time. In this message we will learn what that means and why it matters.

The Extra Mile—Discipline Over Apathy
Weekend Scripture: Daniel 1:1-21
It’s rarely easy, but always beneficial to exercise discipline in the face of great temptation. Whether it’s setting goals at work, exercising daily, or saving for the future, God wants to help us have the resolve we need to say “no” to good things so we can say “yes” to great things. In this message, we will examine how Daniel and his three closest friends decided to honor God with every aspect of their lives, and God honored them in return.
