I Peter 5:8-10 | When we face suffering, we need to remember that the enemy wants to use our pain to draw us away from God. This enemy is not to be taken lightly. He desires to devour us. This message will make us more aware of Satan’s intent to destroy us and how we can stand against his attacks.

Isaiah 9:6 | We long for peace. We long for the fighting to stop, the pain to cease, and the tears to stop flowing. Jesus made peace for us and peace is available to everyone! Who can we introduce to Jesus this Christmas season?

2 Timothy 2:1-6 | If you want to get stronger you only need one thing. Resistance. In Paul’s second letter to Timothy, he continues to challenge him to get stronger by giving him three vivid pictures. Soldier. Athlete. Farmer. All three know a lot about facing resistance. Soldiers fight. Athletes compete. Farmers work. If we want to become stronger followers of Jesus we have to embrace the resistance we face on a daily basis as an opportunity to become stronger and more effective.

Matthew 8:23-27 | When a storm hits in life we can seek shelter in a lot of things. Often the things we run to are destructive. Jesus is the only one who is not only able to save us, but is also with us in the middle of the storm.

Acts 16:16-40 | The mission of God requires a special mixture of obedience and courage and an endurance that refuses to give up no matter how challenging the circumstances become. In this message, we will look at a joyful prisoner whose outlook on life was used by God to lead other prisoners to Jesus.

Galatians 6:1-3 | From divorce to cancer to bankruptcy to addiction there are a lot of heavy burdens that can keep us up at night. The emotional weight of life’s challenges are often too much for one heart to bear. In this message we will learn how to carry pain and who to share it with so we can heal.

Weekend Scripture: 2 Kings 5:1-14

One thing we all need in our lives is healing: emotional healing, physical healing, relational healing, spiritual healing. The good news is that God specializes in healing. Jesus is called “The Great Physician.” And God Himself is called, “Jehovah Rapha: God our Healer.” In this message, we’ll learn why understanding this name for God brings such strength to our lives.
