Galatians 5:13-25 | One of the reasons it’s so important to understand that we are free from sin’s bondage, penalty, and guilt is that it increases our capacity, through Jesus, to express joy and experience peace. This message will examine the gift of our freedom in Jesus and how it plays out in our lives in a positive way.

Colossians 3:1-17 | When our minds are set on the right things our emotions will follow. Our feelings can and should be shaped by who God is and what He has done for us.

Isaiah 9:6 | We long for peace. We long for the fighting to stop, the pain to cease, and the tears to stop flowing. Jesus made peace for us and peace is available to everyone! Who can we introduce to Jesus this Christmas season?

I Corinthians 15:51-58 | By leaving his tomb empty, Jesus made it possible for all of us to live without fear. In this Easter message, we will see that even when the daily circumstances of life are uncertain, we have peace in our hearts because our future destination has been secured.

Colossians 3:12-15 | It’s never easy to forgive someone when they’ve hurt you. We tend to replay the mean things they said and did to the point that it can become a consuming and unwelcomed memory. In this message we will learn how to forgive others and the benefits that come when we walk away from the desire to retaliate.

Weekend Scripture: Judges 6-7

Jeremiah, the “weeping” prophet, once cried, “Peace, peace, when there is no peace.” He was like a doctor telling a patient, “You may feel okay, but you’re not.” When a physician delivers that kind of message, it usually means that drastic measures are necessary; a band-aid won’t fix it. Inner peace is the same way. It calls for a diligent response to Jehovah Shalom, our God of Peace. This message will explore how trusting God can bring more peace into our lives.
