So your hope is grounded in their goodness—you have to trust their intentions toward you. This weekend, we'll take a look at Jacob and his story of wrestling with God.

In this life sometimes we live as if the world revolves around us, and we have to constantly remind ourselves that it’s not about us. It’s about Jesus. But in Heaven, we will see reality as it really is and we will never have to correct our thinking, because we will not see ourselves as the most important thing. God made us to love Him and to love others, and Heaven will be our living these two calls perfectly.

We all come from different environments that have impacted our hearts for better or worse, but no matter what the condition of our hearts’ “soil” is, God can transform it so that fruit is able to grow and thrive. However, there must also be people willing to sow these seeds, especially for our children and students. We as a church don’t want to wait until they’re older—we want to invest in what God is doing in their lives right now.
