THE RESET

CHALLENGE

February 22 - March 22

New Year’s resolutions are usually dead by February. We buy gym memberships we don't use and set goals we don't keep, all while running on a "holiday hangover" of exhaustion. But what if we had only one goal this year?

To know Him.

We weren’t designed to take in as much information as we do. The truth is, the more we listen to the noise of the world, the more we tend to feel outraged and tired. We don't need more things in our lives that make us angry. It is time to reshape your algorithm instead of letting it shape you. Let’s see if we can make it our slave instead of our master.

THE CHALLENGE

From now until March 22, we are going to replace all the voices with one voice: The voice of Jesus.
It’s not enough to just clean out our hearts and minds if we aren’t going to fill them up with God’s Word.

The "Stop Doing" List:

Take a break from the voices that leave you exhausted. For the next 28 days, stop listening to:

  • Cultural and political commentators

  • News organizations

  • Podcasts that aren't about Jesus

  • Influencers, YouTube personalities, and online pastors without churches

The "Start Doing" List:

  • Start Here: We challenged you to change your phone lock screen to say: "I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me." When you reach for your phone without thinking, let that be your prompt to listen to Him instead.

  • Read the Word: We’ve been journeying through the Gospel of John. There are 21 chapters, which is plenty of content to fill four weeks if you read slowly and intentionally. Dive deep into it and learn Jesus’ voice from His Word.

  • Listen to Good Preaching: Replace your habitual scrolling with the preaching of the Word.

    • Below we’ve curated a list of six churches and pastors we know and trust to help you fill those 49 hours with truth.
