Word Play—Adapt Ability
Weekend Scripture: 1 Corinthians 9:19-27
Some things are worth changing for the sake of reaching others. Paul had a unique ability to adapt to the contexts God put him in. If he was with religious people he learned how to connect with them. If he was with irreligious people he learned how to connect with them as well. If our goal truly is to bring as many people to heaven with us as possible, we must have the ability to adapt.

Word Play—Account Ability
Weekend Scripture: Galatians 2:11-21
Keeping a close watch on your life is a team effort. Paul had the courage and the commitment to truth to challenge Peter when he was wrong. Proverbs teaches that “as iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another.” Paul and Peter did that for each other. Trusted friends have the ability to keep account of one another’s lives.

Word Play—Response Ability
Weekend Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:21
Something doesn’t have to be your fault to be your responsibility. Jesus became our sin even though he never sinned. He was able to do for us what we could never do for ourselves, and we need to imitate his selflessness in a culture that continues to become increasingly selfish.
