CIY MIX is a high-energy 5 day camp for 6th through 8th graders from all Southland campuses. Taking place at Country Lake Christian Camp in Underwood, Indiana on June 11-15, 2024, MIX is a time for students to engage with God through powerful worship and teaching from God’s Word. It also gives students the chance to have fun with their small groups through many engaging outdoor activities (lake activities, sports, swimming, etc.) and to connect with God and others through intentional large and small group time.

Transportation to and from your main Southland Campus to Underwood, Indiana

Programming costs
Access to dozens of rec activities for “rec time” during the week such as:
Lake activities (canoes, water slide, water zip line, lake & pool swimming)
Soccer, Basketball, Sand Volleyball, Gaga Ball, Carpetball and more!

Extras that are not included in the price, but are available for purchase at an extra cost:
CIY Merchandise
Extra “snack bar” snacks - open daily during free time and some evenings Approx. $1 a snack
Extra activities for an extra cost:
Paintball: $30 per person / hour
Zipline: $12 per person / zip
$100 registration deposit cost is non-refundable
LOCATION
Country Lake Christian Camp - Underwood, Indiana
SCHEDULE
Typical daily schedule (subject to change):
Morning - Breakfast, morning session, small group time
Afternoon - Lunch, rec time around the camp
Evening - Dinner, Evening session, small group time
There will be an opportunity in the registration to complete food allergy information. These questions are required for ALL participants to be able to complete registration and will be included in the registration process. Any severe allergies will be shared directly with the catering team at the event and arrangements will be made accordingly.

LEADER REGISTRATION
All adult volunteer leaders will need to register for this event separately. Please contact your Campus Student Team for a leader specific registration link.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If a conflict arises after you have already registered your student, you will be able to receive a refund of anything you paid that is over the deposit (the deposit is non-refundable) up until the registration deadline. Once the registration deadline has passed, you will not be permitted to receive any type of refund.

Middle School students are encouraged to attend CIY MIX with their small group, which is supervised by their small group leader. If your student’s small group leader is not attending CIY MIX, or your student is an incoming sixth grader, they will be given a background checked adult as their leader for the week. There will also be many Southland staff members present for the duration of the camp who will help supervise, in addition to the Country Lake Camp Staff.

A packing list and more details to get your student ready for the trip will be available in your confirmation email!

You will drop off your student on June 11 at the Southland Campus that your student attends and will pick them back up in the evening on June 15. The specific time for pick up and drop off will be provided at the CIY MIX parent meeting. Students will be taken to and from the camp on Charter Buses

Students are not permitted to have cell phones during CIY MIX, but the contact information for your student’s small group leader as well as your campus student team will be provided at the parent meeting for emergency use.

We know and understand that students are busy and we want to make sure that every student can participate in CIY MIX. With this being said, we strongly discourage students from coming late or leaving early from CIY MIX. If a student needs to miss a section of CIY MIX for a previously scheduled event, please contact your Campus Students Team.

Deposit of $100 is due upon registration and is non-refundable. Remaining payments can be made through your Planning Center account using the email address you used to register.
