Deer initiative
The deer initiative supports our backpack program. We are partnering with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife and Hunters for the Hungry to create venison jerky sticks to support conservation efforts in the Commonwealth and provide a protein option as part of the backpack program. Check out southland.church/deer for more information!

Summer Worship Night
Join us for our Summer Worship Night! Bring the whole family and some chairs or blankets, and invite your friends to join us, too!

Scott County Back to School Bash
We are honored to partner with several churches in Scott County to support families in our community through the Back to School Bash! Click below to learn how you can get involved.

Special Needs
Here at Southland, we love God and love people—and that includes people with disabilities! Whether it’s physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities, we love our friends with special needs and see them as valuable members of our church community.

Party On The Patio
Lexington Campus, join us on Sunday, July 6, at 5:30pm for a Party on the Patio!
From 5:30-7:30pm, we'll have games and activities for all ages on the patio in front of our building, along with food trucks you can purchase from, some free sweet treats, and more. So bring the family, invite a friend, and let's enjoy sweet summertime together!

Georgetown Family Movie Night
Join us for a special family movie experience on Friday, July 11 at 6pm in the Georgetown Auditorium! We'll put the pedal to the metal with a Disney classic. Fuel up for free with delicious popcorn, sweet candy, and refreshing drinks. Please bring your favorite chair to park in!
But wait, there's more! We're asking everyone to design and bring their very own car to the event. Let your imagination race and show off your coolest, wackiest, or most creative vehicle!

Giving
Here at Southland, our mission is simple: love God, love people.
Everything we do inside and outside the walls of our church is for that purpose, and all of it is made possible by the way you generously and sacrificially give. From financial gifts to item donations, we literally couldn’t do what we do without your generosity. So, thank you for helping us make an impact in our communities, our cities, and our world!

Starting Point
"For just as the body is one and has many members, all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ."
1 Corinthians 12:12

Join a Group
We believe life is best when it’s lived in community, surrounded by people who will encourage us, challenge us, and help us grow in our relationship with Jesus. But we know it can be hard to find that kind of community, which is why we have Southland Groups!

Mission Trips
Here at Southland, you’ll hear us talk about three ways we aim to live our lives: with Jesus, in community, and on mission. One way you can live “on mission” is by joining us on one of our mission trips!

Young Adults Summer Events
We want to see young adults find their place and participate in the life of Southland. Check out what we've got planned and let's hang this summer!
We’re not saying these events will be the highlight of your summer...but we’re also not not saying that.

Dollar Club
We ask everyone who attends Southland to add one extra dollar to their weekly offering. It may not sound like much, but each week, those extra dollars from all five of our campuses get added together to bless an individual or family in a life-changing way. So thank you for your generosity—it's making a huge impact here at Southland and in the community!

Children’s Ministry
At Southland, we think it’s really important to show kids who God is, how much He loves them, and how to use the Bible to guide their lives. That’s the goal of our Children’s Ministry! Each Sunday during our regular services, kids from nursery to 5th grade have the opportunity to grow closer in community, with Jesus, and develop a foundation of faith and truth.

Southland After School
Our After-School Program provides a safe environment where middle and high school students can go at the end of their school day to socially connect, mentally engage, physically train, emotionally heal, and spiritually grow. In order to do that, we need a strong team of volunteers to help us invest in these students and show them how much Jesus loves them!

Care Groups
We all need people to support us through the tough seasons in life. And sometimes, finding a community of people who understand exactly what we’re going through can make all the difference.
We offer Care Groups for those navigating some of life’s most difficult circumstances and challenging callings.

Nicholasville Students Summer Calendars

Southland Garden
Looking for a fun way to serve our community this summer? We’d love your help at the Southland Community Garden!
The Southland Garden provides food to those in need through our community partners. If you like working outside and getting your hands dirty, we’d love for you to join us as we grow and distribute produce!
